The Richmond Hill Community Food Bank is an independently run, non-profit, non-government agency, founded to provide temporary emergency food assistance to those in need. Our strength is found in the generous support of the citizens of Richmond Hill and Thornhill, as well as in the community and faith-based groups, corporate supporters, and our staff of volunteers. Working together, we can make a difference.
As of July 2023, face masks for both clients and volunteers inside our food bank are optional. Clients must register at side/north door (orange cones), showing photo identification for each adult in the family and proof of address. Pre-packed groceries will be handed out the front/west door; PLEASE bring extra cloth bags to carry out your food.
